On "The Fishing Hole" forum - you asked about repair of a custom rod. I made contact with the person who made the fly rods I purchased from the auction side - and posted his contact information for you. I don't know if you checked the "subscribe to this topic" square - but I haven't seen any response - so I am posting on this forum in hopes that you see it and make contact with him.
