What security?

I work in a oil refinery.....When the word came down, for everyone to be on the highest alert. What did our plant do? NOTHING..I go back on shift, and the only thing different, was the one (single) lady guard was awake....Gates standing wide open, but of course we all have to use our little computerized badges to get in...What is it going to take for people to wake up..?.Paradise is over, time for a reality(sp) check...These companies are like, leading lambs to the slaughter....and the people are lined up...I have voiced my opinion to my supervisor and he says, I know....Everyone waiting for someone else to lead them....I have called a safety rep. and complained and maybe they will wake up before they get someone killed.......me included.....

Good job, somebody has to stand up. Security is not in a company's interest because that costs money. They might (but should) thank you someday.
