Has anyone ever heard the rumor that Anheuser-Busch gives money to Anti-gun groups.

    I think they were a sponsor of the shooting team in the last Olympics.Maybe someone can confirm or disaffirm that.

    I know that there was a rumor a few years back about Budweiser contributing to anti-gun groups. If I recall correctly, Budweiser claimed that they had donated money to a group that advocated gun control and did so without the knowledge of that fact. Almost immediately after the scandal, Budweiser began airing commercials geared towards the outdoorsman and hunting enthusiast.

    Also I don't think Remington would be an associate sponsor for Dale Earnhardt Jr. if Budweiser was anti-gun. That was a source of jokes when it was announced that a beer company and a firearms maker were teaming up to sponsor the car.

    One thing that "chaps the hide" of the beer industry is the competition for their raw products.Anti guning liberals, eat the hops and barley, cause they're vegetarians.Real men eat meat, cause they are hunters and gatherers.And of course, need to wash the food down with suds.
