Has anyone else had problems not getting their check from President Bush? I know I have. After mouths of investigating I finally get a hold of someone at the IRS who can answer my question. And like I though, I am do my check and it was not sent out. The most disturbing thing I found out is that the social security department has my birthday all screwed-up. I was born 20+ years ago and only find this out now! I checked my birth certificate and the numbers have been switched or something. I'm wondering if I should even change the information with SS. Anyway, I have to file on the 2001 tax return to get my MONEY! How am I suppose to stimulate the economy when the Gov. will not give me the check to buy a new gun.

To answer your question.....YES. Do WHATEVER you need to do to get the records corrected. You don't want to wait til you're 60 something and find out they think your only 52. It'll be a pain but DO IT!Mudge the seasoned citizen

Mudge is right as usual, get it fixxed now. I got my rebate so long ago, I had forgotten it. Don't even remember what I spent it on, drip irrigation I think.
