District fires teacher who burned flagASSOCIATED PRESS November 9, 2001 SACRAMENTO -- A teacher who burned a flag in front of sixth-graders days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks has been fired, Del Paso Heights school district authorities said."He's no longer on the payroll," said Superintendent Carl Mack Jr.Officials placed teacher Kory Grant Clift, 25, on paid administrative leave Sept. 18 after they said he partially burned a flag and referred to the nation as the "United Snakes." In October, the district gave him a 30-day notice of termination.Clift is appealing his firing, but no hearing has been set.The teacher called it an example of "revolutionary teaching." Sure, he wants to remain a teacher. How else can he spread his America-hating socialist doctrine? Now I will stay tuned for him being voted "Kalifornia teacher of the year".

    Well that's good news, here is his chance to go teach in a muslim country, since it's doubtful, he'll get a job teaching in this country.And that ought to suit him just fine since he hates the US anyhow.I'm glad to see, some school administrators are still out there that are not afraid to dispense with due process to these liberal school teachers, especially with those that exhibit unamerican behavior,or want to stray from the curriculum to give air to their vias non comformist views, without regard for the young people minds entrusted to them for education.
