Abe Lincoln replaced by Caesar Chavez

Anybody watch FOX News Sunday this morning? It seems some southern Kalifornia teachers association has decided to quit recognizing Abe Lincoln's birthday and will instead celebrate the life of Caesar Chavez. You know, in keeping with their quest for a diverse society. They also said that Mr. Chavez was worthy of the recognition because of his strong beliefs in organized labor.

Well, I guess Honest Abe can't compete with THAT.

We might possibly get Abe back into the schools by pointing out that he was a fanatic on the subject of preserving a strong and secure union, just like Ceasar Chavez.
