Nice to see the Republican party throwing their support behind a Democrat with an R after her name.

Saxon- They are not supporting every candidate. They are supporting the "leftist", but are leaving the 2 more conservative candidates in the wind.

I read the article and I don't see what you saw there.

I see the NRSC supporting one of three Republican Candidates in a primary.

They appear to be conservative with the candidate being supported by the NRSC being the most closest to the center, apparently this is the wave that sweeping the country after 911, most voters want middle of the road conservative candidayes in office.

Turbo-That is exactly what I saw. The Republican party is supporting the candidate that most resembles a democrat.

    I see what your saying.

Problem with what your saying is this,

Republicans are right of center, the rag is stating this candidate is a centrist; to me this means center of the conservative agenda, NOT center of the political spectrum.

Remember Demos are left of center, and a centrist their is between moderates and liberals, either way your in the center of your parties ideology.

Moderates are considered closer to the center of polotical lanscape.

I see the Senate Committee endorsement of this one candidate a wise one, if the other two are extreme; although I would rather be counted more to the right, the chances of the senate being retaken maybe better with a conservative centrist than with a staunch conservative right of center.

Eitherway I don't know any of these candidates, however I would like to see the Republicans in the majority with a Republican President at the wheel, this next election, I think it'll be better for the country.

Especially after, the clinton gore fiasco.
