As a long time member of this board, and posting under my real name also: I have this to say.....Josey1, I enjoy some of your posts, but I have neither time nor inclination to read all of them. I do not consider all appropriate to the general discussion section. Probably 50% should be in the politics section. You have currently posted 17 topics out of 49 showing this am. Do you feel that you comprise over 15% of this board??My beef is that I am on this board to read gun related topics and at times you seem over zealous. However I will defend your right to post what you want. Its a free country. I would appreciate a little more segregation on your topics between the politics and the general discussion theme.....regards swede

And I guess Daisy Duke is a HOT topic? Look at the play on that. Keep it up Josey1 - I can easily pick and choose what to read. I have started reading some of his post and stopped dead in my tracks and left it. Some things I have passed over I have come back to read and they were well worth coming back to. BTW - Me never gonna drink an opaque punch again.

I didn't jump in on the first one of these postings; but I'll do it now. Many of Josey's posting clearly belong on the politics section.....maybe posting them there would get more of us over to that board to check them out. Some are clearly politically hot items. He is putting this info out and many on the forum appreciate it but what it has a tendancy to do is clog the board and push general discussion items off page one and bury them beneath an avalanche of political agenda items. It does interrupt some of the better discussions. I'd propose limiting the best three of the day on our board and the rest on the politics board. Or maybe have nunn let his opinion of the best three stay and vaporize(delete) the others. Of course everybody doesn't always agree with nunn but he does seem to be the most level headed person in our little crowd. Beach

Josey1, I like a lot of what you post. There is a lot to look at though. As long as you put an accurate title on the post, I can usually decide whether I want to look at it or not. I'll let you be the judge of how much is too much.

Josey1By me it's ok that you post what you want to post, but in reviewing the "Politics" board, you might want to put in some political items over there, seems the Libertarians are asking for donations of money to get their agenda out, and even have a recruitment application, for those of us who want to donate to their cause.Posting news items is one thing but recruiting is something else, I say move those advertisements to the wanted ads.
