My wife has bought me guns but has never shot one in her entire life until this past weekend. We where to do lunch Saturday afternoon so I had her meet me at the shooting range. She stood out side the glass watching me from above shoot with a few of my friends and acted like she wanted to leave. After lunch I had to go to the mall and pick up a few things but remembered I owed the manager of the range $20 for ammo. I swung buy and guess who I saw taking shooting lessons. Yoy got it.... My wife. This is a very special to me. I just hope she falls in love with shooting the way that I did. The funny part is she does not know I saw her.

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.

Good job,and good luck.I think we all need to encourage our spouses to learn the art oof accurate shooting. My wife will shoot any of my 9mm but shes not to enthused about it.She does it for me but I give her them lectures about me being a Police Officer and probably have more than a few enemies she needs to know how 100% all the time to defend her self.WE work odd shifts, and Im not at home alot at night. And when people dont see the Cruiser in my driveway they assume Im working. So she has become very familiar with her 9mm and Im happy about that so I know how you feel.

Dont tell her you saw her.. obviously she wants to suprise you, so dont spoil it...These are little things we do for our man, to let them know how much we care
IF you tell her you have seen her, then she may quit going alltogether... for now.. just play stupid.... **S... She will tell you or take you with her when the time is right for her..

I am very excited. I am not sure if she liked it or not because I really hope that she does. I have tried to explain to her many many time that there are alot of bad people out there and the reason I want to carry and practice is because if I have to protect my self or my family I will be prepared to do so. We had someone brake in our house not to long ago and had it been on of those late nights at the office I have anything could have happened. I have been pushing her hard and I just hot I got into her head. If it is a surprize for me I will be one I love and would be very proud of.

ccasey612...When she completes her lessons and announces her accomplishment to you, you should have a special present ready for her. Can't think of anything nicer than her very own gun.

If any of you guys who have that kind of wife want to make a trade let me know. I have one who has no idea what or how many guns I have. She has never even bought me a box of shells let alone a gun! She used to ask me what I wanted for Xmas and I would make a list and nothing was ever under the tree that had anything to do with shooting. I envy those who have such a wife.

I hope she is hooked, but if she does like it, remember the only down side.Ammo will now cost twice as much, since you are shooting twice as much. (a small price to pay)The bright side; Teach her how to clean the guns, then you only have to clean half as many. Ha Ha

If I knew then, what I know now.
