I found this site about 1-2 months ago and I love it. It got me thinking though, some of you guys have 2000 posts, so how long has this place been around for? When did you guys come across this forum?

    I started coming here in Jan of 2001, mainly to read and then it got me now I'm hooked

    I found it in 2001. From what I've seen it started around 1999.

    I started using Gunbroker in early 1999. At that time, auctions were numbered with only 5 digits. Maybe 4, I forget. Anyway, the site was brand new and looked a lot different. It works MUCH better now than it did then.

    March 15, 1999 was the birthdate of the auction site. The forums in their present form came along sometime in the summer of 1999.

    There are an old set of forums that were hosted by a third-part service (and actually still exist out there somewhere) that were started in April of 1999.

    My first auction on G.B. was 10-99 it had 5 digits then.
