Question about "WIDE" threads

Why is it that I have to scroll back and forth to be able to read some threads? Look at the "What would you do" thread written by calcameron. There are no pictures on the thread but it is 2 screens wide.

    Somebody's got a wide signature line or something. When I hit a wide thread, I just click the back button. I will not even read them.

    I never thought about the signature lines. (I have them turned OFF).

    That gives me another reason to hate them.

    I try to read them but get pissed after the second or third time going back and forth.

    Signature lines remind me of the teenage kids around here that put huge decals on the back windows of their pickups that say "Cinch" "Oakley" "Alpine" etc..

    Why in the world would you pay money to be a moving billboard for a company. And what do you get out of it?

    The thread that I posted didn't start out that way, I don't think.

    On that post it is because poster screwobama put too many of these

    ============================

    in it and stretched the post.

    With scottm21166's "I found the truth I already believed" post, he put a line of

    XXXXXXXXXs

    Easy fix, but the posters won't. [V]
