When I walk into a store, I know what I went in there for and they either have it or they don't. If they have it at a price I'm willing to pay, I buy it and leave. If they don't have it I just leave.

Why is it when women go into a store they can't define in English that anybody can understand what they are looking for, but it take them three hours to figure out this store doesn't have it, then they have to search seventeen other store to decide there is something in the first store they can't live without?
The road to hell is paved with COMPROMISE.

You are far too old and wise to seriously be asking this question. I understand the need to try and explain it. Don't. You'll hurt yourself.

...I'm a lucky guy. Cath just positively hates shopping. Go in, get it, get out. Clothes, groceries, paint, doesn't matter. [^]

Its the hunter/gatherer instinct which hasn't died in the thousands of years since we abandoned that way of life. Thats my armchair-scientist opinion.

Women: Shopping is a sport to them. They don't know what they are looking for, or what they want. BUT, when they see it, they'll buy it. This process can take hours, or days! I've seen my wife look at racks of clothes that don't even fit her. I ask why and she says, "I'm just looking."

Men: Men go to a store to GET. They know what they want, go in, get it, buy it, and leave.

I have a feeling that question has perplexed men since the beginning of time, and may well NEVER be answered.[:(]
