Took my Boy trap shooting 1st time...........

Well he wanted to take a 410 that my neighbor gave him for chores. I was suprised, after the first 10 shots getting used to the way those clays fly he got 8 with a his little single shot stevens. We did not push his luck the first day out so we will get back next week. Not bad for a 12yr old. Proud Hound!!!!!

    Its so nice to hear of father and son getting out together, sharing ...and of course making dad proud can make a boy feel 10 feet tall...
    You have good reason to be proud... he did great... Have seen some adults at the one club here that cannot shoot that well...

    It will not be long till he is out shooting you at trap. Great hand / eye coordination and fast reflexes will soon take over with a little experince.

    Any day at the range, is better than a good day at work. And then you got to share it with your KID. Not much better than that.
