I left the state back in 1980. What has happened to the laws back there with respect to guns? Any of you live near Hagerstown, Bel Air, or Dogpatch (I'd have to explain that one)

You don't wanna know. I think they are trying to outdo california for firearm intolerance.
Here is a short list:
All magazines with a limit over 20 banned
Body armor for civilians Banned
All firearms not on a "state approved list" banned
All firearms without a built in lock banned, even if they were on the previously approved list. (only 3 manufacturers make this grade at this time)
Mandatory classes with registration for all firearm purchases
Hagerstown got a large shopping center/outlet mall. it is pretty nice.

Good news is that Bradford Co. Pa is twelve miles to the south. There's still hope there.
