    Had a semi-great time. Got to agree with 'clouder, most of the country along I-8 and I-10 is a tad bleak but the vistas are magnifico!!!

    Stopped at a Harrah's near Phoenix and won enough to fund the entire trip!! (Actually I broke even and the wife did the winning).

    Can now say that I've swum in the worlds shortest river.

    Shot some clay's at an overpriced, under-implemented
    course (details available if anyone is interested).

    Had some decent BBQ and met some good folk (and a few bummers too).

    All in all a better than average vacation.

    A bad day shooting clays is always better than a good day at work.
