WOW Sons Christmas Present

I just got off of the phone with my Step-Dad. He just recently had the lower part of his right leg taken off.
He was commenting on the fact that he won't be able to use this gun since he will have a fake foot so he decided that he is going to give my 14 yr old his never fired H & K Super black Eagle Benelli.
I have a H & K Super 90 Benelli. Now my son will have the Upgrade for it.
I am planning on giving him my 2 1/2 years deceased Dad's Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Mag. for Christmas also.
He is getting around $2000+ for Christmas just in guns. Granted these are not costing either of us anything. His was just like money in the bank and mine was going to go to him anyway.
Anyway, it should be impossible to get the smile off of his face.

you want to adopt [:D]
You don't want a soon to be 40 yr old, 2 hip replacement dad.[:D]
We are just keeping the guns in the family.
On my Step-Dads side though, his were bought as investments, mine, good deals or needs.
Congrats on keepin' it in the family.
Dad, that you?[;)]
That all depends. Were you around U of I or Indy around 1988?[:D]

I think your step dad might be giving up?...there is no reason on the face of the earth he couldnt use his guns..
I know of amputees who still hunt, shoot trap/skeet etc....losing a leg/foot etc should not affect his ability to handle a gun..Classic has students in wheelchairs, and students with artifical legs, and one soldier from Iraq missing his entire left leg and he is shooting and hunting...

He is not giving up. He has over 7 gun safes full of long guns and pistols. He just knows that my son will get more out of the gun then he will. It is a gun that he would rather my son have than have the money for. He can't see himself goose hunting.

I would think so. [:D][:D]
