I have not heard the final numbers but I filled two tags, buck and a doe, in Scotland County which I believe was Zone 6.

Great season here in the southwest corner, My 11 year old son took his first deer, a button buck during the youth hunt & his second, a doe during the regular season. I took "The Gorilla of Long Tom Holler" on opening day of gun season. He is an 11 pointer, typical & green scored at 163 & 1/3, should make the Show Me Big Bucks Club after drying & deductions, weighed 170 lbs. dressed out, really a good buck for southern MO. being an acorn based food source. I had saw him last season face to face but could'nt get a shot. I put my son on him during the youth hunt but he never showed.I filled my doe tag on the Tues. before season ended. It truly was a great season mostly because the boy tagged out, we've got venison in the freezer, & soon to have a trophy on the wall as soon as the taxidermy man gets him back to me.Thanks for asking, Mojorisin
