Our way or the highway.................

I've heard a lot of talk about what we should do, or who we should do it with, in or out, but the bottom line is THIS TIME WE DO IT OUR WAY! We as a country have spent the last several decades and wars liberating different countries and poking our noses in keeping them safe with american blood and muscle, playing by others rules. This time they propagated the start of the conflict on AMERICAN soil taking American lives (with a lot of other countries to boot). That being said, this conflict should go down by the rules we dictate. Period. No when you get to the 36 th parallel you have to play nice, no you can't do that here. HUH UH, this time we should tell everyone this is how we intend to do it. This is not for the liberation of a country that is held hostage by a tyrranical government, this time we are fighting for our own survival, and way of life on our own soil. Do you believe that even in a coallition of governments behind us that anyone else should dictate the rules of engagement to the U.S.? I for one do not. Just a thought, becuase I already hear the political machine humming in the background even though some of our "leaders" are trying to talk tough.
If guns cause crime, all mine are defective.

    It's my understanding that there are some who are encouraging us to get the "permission" or "sanction" of the U.N. before we go in and kick * and take names.Well...OK...If they want to give us their "approval" to do what we gotta' do, bless their little hearts. We should, however, let them know that we're gonna' do what we gotta' do (as GWB said) "at the place and time of our choosing" with or without their "blessing".Mudge

    Screw the U.N. It's too bad they didn't miss the WTC and hit that building instead.Once we're through with the terrorists we should run the U.N outta here as well.
