Peltor Hearing Protection

With all the bad things you hear about companies, I think it is time to tell some good things. Recently I sent 2 pair of Peltor Electronic hearing protectors back to be refurbished. Like most older shooters that have been doing it for a long time, my hearing is bad so I bought the Peltor electronic protectors so I could hear range commands and start signals at shooting matches, they worked perfectly. I have had them for over 5 years and they were getting worn. The headbands were ripped and the wind screens were gone, and one set the inside was rusted because they got wet. I received the muffs back from Peltor and they were completely refurbished with new interal parts, new headbands, wind screens and anything else that was needed. The bill for all this work $0.00 - the muffs were expensive to start but the use I received and the support from the company is worth the price. THANK YOU PELTOR!! It is nice to see a company stand completely behind their products. I highly recommend Peltor and can't say enough nice things about the company. If anyone is thinking of buying new hearing protectors, look into Peltor, I use the TAC 6S and TAC 7 - they are worth the price.Mel Hockwitt

I just use the standard "earmuff" type of hearing protectors. I own several pair and they're all Peltors. Top quality equipment. Also, whenever I buy hearing protection for my crew at the wastewater plant I buy Peltor. And it doesn't hurt my feelings that the local gunshop is the closest retailer of their products. Nothing like heading for the gunshop on "company business."
