Maybe I don`t need all these guns

Well,I think I`ve got more guns than I can shoot, maybe I`ll sell off a few.I`m not quite sure which ones I should sell,or which ones I should keep.Anybody have any suggestions on what a guy really needs? I`ll sell some ,and I`ll buy a few that I dont have,if you think I need them.Let`s see if,with your help,I can simplify things here at the ol`.218 houshold. Then we`ll count em up and see how well we did!!

We know your gona keep the 218 Bee, you also need one high powered rifle, and one 22 LR. one SXS, one O/U, and one simi auto shotgun. Handguns, One 22 LR simi auto, and one 50 AE Desert Eagle with Titanium gold finish. Keep the biggest finest revolver you have and the jennings 24.5 Then send all your Rugers and Remingtons toysacresWAZZU WA99101OH, you said sell ,not send, sory, shucks, shoot, that sucks

That's just crazy talk. You'd better sleep on it and see if you feel the same in the morning.

ONE SXS?ONE SXS?Have you gone MAD man?Man can not live with ONE sxs alone! What a silly notion.I do fine myself rationalizing why I should keep one gun and why I shouldn't sell it.Something so important should be mulled over a nice single malt.

Perhaps you have more guns than I, but I can't even imagine getting RID of any. Heck, all I can think about is how I'm going to get MORE!If you have duplicates, though, I would start there. But, getting rid of the only one of a particular make/model/caliber is too tough for me....

concealedG36!Why would you say get rid of duplicates? I think you would need one for EACH HAND! and don't forget BACK-UPs!... After that you could start THINKING ABOUT thinning out ...

218Bee,I could add a "silly" answer, but if you are realistically thinking about selling some things, I'll tell you what I do (which is actually what military groups have done plenty of times too).Work toward limiting the number of different types of ammo you have to keep. Remember, firearms are relatively useless without ammo (some make a good decoration or a nice club for defense); if you're keeping guns, you also have to keep ammo--which "complicates things".When I get in the mood to simplifiy my life--and usually when I'm thinking about buying another gun--I look to selling or buying based upon ammo requirements.Joe

.218 you know you don't need that Savage Model 99 in .257 Roberts, so just send it on to me. I have more than I NEED too, but what does need have to do with it?

218BeekeepThat was just a little uncalled for! I think I'll quote admin and just say personal attacks aren't welcome (and add "not very nice either!") competentone,Thats what I decided a looong time ago ... if its not .223, .308, .45 or 9mm then I don't "NEED" it ... well, unless its .22 or 8mm (forgot those cheep ammo shooters!)He Dog, Thats just the point I was trying to make!(your comment: I have more than I NEED too, but what does need have to do with it?)

the only logical reason I can see to get rid of any guns is to buy more!
I spent all my money on guns, women, and beer. The rest I just wasted.wiredog70@hotmail.com

218Beekeep - you keep all of the guns and go buy more.Because you know full well the moment you've sold one - that's the moment you will need that particular gun or caliber (never fails).
