Colt 1911 carbine

What do ya think about this new carbine thing? Has anyone tried one out? They are listed on GB and they say that you don't need a FFL to get one. I wonder if they will make one of these for my Colt All American 9mm. or any other type of gun? Has anyone asked any of these questions yet? If so I must have missed it.

I had one for my springfield armory 1911, it was cool and fun to shoot. I sold the pistol so it had to go. they do make 9mm and will soon be making these ccu's for glocks. here is the web page. http://www.mechtechsys.com/index.htm
