My Drawing of an AK-47

Medium: black and white colored pencils on toned paper
Date: 12 December 2002
I lost some of the resolution, because I had to take a photograph with my digital camera. (The picture was too large for my flatbed scanner.) The drawing has since been double-matted and framed. Some of my other work can be found here.

Very cool drawing Jacqueline. I took a drawing class once but didn't have the opportunity to submit any work like this.
Thanks. This particular drawing wasn't for an art class; it was a gift to my boyfriend. (He didn't know what I was drawing until I gave it to him.)

and bloodshed.
Clearly an evil implement of mass slaughter
and bloodshed.
I was wondering if I'd be able to get the drawing of the "assault weapon" on an airplane or into a federal building.

When guns were invented everything changed. For the first time in the history of the world a frail woman had a chance to sucessfully defend herself and home. My dream is that one of the anti-gun nuts will need a gun for defense and be unable to have one because of their own actions.
