New Indiana gun law

I heard per an ISP officer that Indiana snuck in a new law about CC permits. I have heard that if a CC permit holder moves to a new address and does not get his permit updated IMMEDIATELY, and he or she gets caught with it, it is an automatic felony! The permit must be updated almost before you move. I have not confirmed this for sure yet, so if anyone can confirm or or deny its validity please let me know. If it is true, I just wanted to warn everybody. I haven't been online in a while, so if this is old news, I apologize.

All it takes for evil to prevail is that good men do nothing.

    Prior law required notification of change of address or name within 60 days. I am not aware of any change, but a bunch of new laws went into effect July 1. I'll see what I can find; I think there is a list of all the laws that went into effect somewhere.

    60 days to notify that you have moved. Just confirmed over the phone with ISP firearms division. Evidently this trooper is hacking on the branch between himself, the tree, and the tree limb he's on.

    Re: Indiana Code IC 35-47-2-3

    Quote..... "(i) If a person who holds a valid license to carry a handgun issued under this chapter:
    (1) changes the person's name; or
    (2) changes the person's address;
    the person shall, not later than sixty (60) days after the date of the change, notify the superintendent, in writing, of the person's new name or new address."
