The Sean Connery lovers will probably have me for breakfast on this one but the one I like the most and fits together the best is and is the most entertaining is Goldeneye.Anybody else agree and if not what is your choice?

    Agree

....Goldfinger, good plot, great musical score, excellent villians, flying derby's, great cars, all cars since have been measured by 007's Aston Martin DB5.....only disapointment was where Miss Masters tried to use a .22 cal AR7 for a sniper rifle....(Hollywood just can't seem to get the guns right).

"From Russia with Love".......I think it was Bond who used the AR-7. It was standard issue.

Goldfinger without a doubt is number one. From Russia With Love is a close second with lots of good cold war spy "tradecraft" in there. I also like Moonraker and Live and Let Die. * wasn't bad either.

Ha, Ha, Ha, look what the software filter did to the movie name!

The best one has to be Goldfinger. A close second is The Man With the Golden Gun. I will say that Goldeneye has been the best one since golden gun though.

I like the early Connerys the best, because Bond was really meant to be more realistic than he became later on. Connery had the character down cold. Originally, the movies and the books were all about his cool, cruel personal attitude, his taste for women, gambling, a drink, his ability to withstand pain and torture, his resourcefulness, and overcoming a good villain on a serious mission. Since then, they've gradually become a series of set pieces. While Bond did get involved with machines like the camouflaged "dragon" in Dr. No, the snow machine in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the laser in Goldfinger, a rocket launch in Moonraker, and of course the tricked out sports car, the movies went nuts with wild gadgets later on. Despite all that, I like a lot of the later films for one reason or another, but the early ones are "bottled in Bond."

This is hard! I guess Ocotopussy, followed by From Russia With Love. Pierce Brosnan is almost as good as Connery and the 'new' releases are lots of fun, also.

"Dr. No" only for Ursella (sp.?) Andress coming out of the water in one of the all-time great bikinis. Plus every one of the earlier Bond flicks where the babes in the background would be silhouetted in the buff during the run of the opening credits. That was all the excitement a 14 year old could handle!

moonraker real advanced for the time made....

    * I expected a lot of 8 legged Cats but there were none ..
    only 2 legged ones....

live and let die .... Interesting turn outs ....Funny!

All of them were good, some had goofy stuff but on average all are quite good ,I share critic mind, the smoking drinking macho stud stuff
is not apealing to general taste ,it degenerated too much ,in * he even invited his MALE captor to have a "night cap" that
was disgusting...... Turned from agent 007 to 069

    Few noticed......

I am going to depart from the popular vote for Sean Connery. I would have to go with any of the James Bond films starring Roger Moore.

George Lazenby was in On Her Majesty's Secret Service with Diana Rigg. That was one of my favorite books, but not movie. My parents caught me reading it when I was a teenager and took it away from me because it featured unmarried sex. Of course, that made me more determined to finish reading it!
