I've just learned I'm about the proud new father of a Bush Master Ar-15! I have my choice of 16 or 20 inch barrel which one should I get? Is Bush Master a good Ar15? Help, I've never owned a 223 before!

You can't go wrong with a Bushmaster AR, Monkey Man.Personally, I'd go with the 20" barrel. You'll get a few more FPS and better accuracy. Besides, with a pistol-gripped AR, having the short barrel is a moot point anyhow. If you're fighting at close enough quarters to make a short barrel handy, you can always just fire from the hip. By the way, I hope you burn for betraying your beloved AK for a hussy like that AR. Lord knows I'M faithful to my AK's!

Shouldn't a DNA test be in order to make sure he's the Father? I know some topics are better off as "Don't ask....Don't tell"....but what are you doing in your private life that would produce an offspring like a AR15?.....I've heard a few on this board refer to their favorite firearms as their "Babies"....but don't think anyone claimed to have fathered one.

Hey Evil,There's a nasty rumor running about that you have strayed. Seems you've been dibble dabbling an older, more experienced model.

I shot one of those at the range the other day. Nice gun. But, I found better results AFTER pitching the scope. My brother-in-law has a nice Bushmaster AR-15, but the scope he had on it was a piece of crap. After removing it he could almost keep up with my new M1A (but not quite)

How the heck, Can I legally put a muzzel break on my new baby?

Ps. I'd like to mount a scope directly to the upper, but wouldn't the front site block the view?!

muzzle brakes are legal--just don't thread the barrel and put it on a post-94 recieverpin the brake on--or get a whole second Bushmaster upper with the attached brake
