I just ran into town. And with out realy paying any attention I remember seeing three sings saying this. All on small family owned business. Probly employing 2 to 4 employees.
Every time I pick up a news paper or turn on the news I see where some plant or mill is closing down.
The other day I was talking with a loan officer at a bank. He told me that people are doing a lot of refinanceing but not buying.
I cant understand what is so great about this jobless recovery.

When I was a child, I thought as a child. But now that I am grown, I just wish I could act like a child and get away with it.

Those with portfolios are doing quite well, thank you. [;)]

Move a few miles East, Tools; the Charleston area is growing like crazy. Every other week I have to re-orient myself to landmarks when driving; new buildings/business everywhere!

Same situation when I visit my mother in the Tampa, FL area.

The economy is certainly booming in some places.
