OK, This is what is being raffeled away. It is a scope mount and a 40rd mag for the AR18, AR180, AR180B rifles. The mount is the B-Square variety and will accept rings or any weaver type scope. To win this package you must be one of the 1st 10 to answer this question: What was the nick name for the AR180 rifle and what organization gave it this nick name? If we do not have 10 names by 1745 mountain today 02/19/2004 we will go with what we have. [8D]

Armalite developed a commercial semiautomatic version of the AR-18 and marketed it as the AR-180.
While it was produced in small numbers, the AR-18 was never adopted by any major military force. It did, however, achieve the dubious honor of becoming a favorite weapon of the Irish Republican Army, where it earned the unenviable nickname "widowmaker." Although the U.S. considered it for military adoption, the AR-18 had problems with parts breakage during testing. Since the U.S. had already adopted the AR-15/M 16, Armalite did not make a serious effort to either rectify the problems or fully develop the rifle.
