Anyone ever met a professional ball player? I am not a BB fan but just watch the playoffs. I got to meet Reggie Jackson one year at the Owners of the Oakland A's.. Charlie Finley's home in Laport, In. The old man Charlie was a character. He had his servant take me inside his home to show me the World Series trophy as it was sitting on top of an old 25" airline color tv. Charlie asked me later what I thought of it? I was sitting next to him at a large table. I told him I wasn't a baseball fan and couldn't name 10 players if I had too. He reached over and grabbed my hand ..hard.. and said... I wish more folks gave me an honest answer about baseball.
