For Mopar:
I wrote you a message at the tail end of another thread. I don't know if you saw it or even what it was. If you responded, I apologize for asking you the same questions again.
Obviously by your handle you enjoy Chrysler products. That usually, but not necessarily, means muscle cars. I was wondering what type of Mopars do you have?
I am trying to finish up a 66 Sport Fury. It came with a poly-318 and is kind of an olive green. It now has a 440 4 barrel, dual exhaust Edlebrock aluminum carb, and enough aluminum under the hood to make Pepsi jealous. The car is also being converted to black with a red interior.
Waiting to be started on are a 68 Barracuda notchback, (came with a slant six but I plan to remedy that situation some day), a 66 convertible Valiant with a slant six, and I have a rust bucket 68 Dodge Charger 383 that will need an awful lot of work.
Just thought you might be interested. My wife complains that my two hobbies, guns and Mopars is too expensive. I can usually "smuggle" a new gun into my cabinet, but a new Mopar???????????

What are your plans for the Barracuda? I bought a new '68 coupe when I was in the Army. Formula "S" package with the 340 engine and Torqueflite tranny. Emerald green with a black vinyl top and black bucket interior. Man, did that car ever haul *. I blew a lot of big block Camaros off the road with it. I'd give anything to have it back.
Also owned over the years: '62 Dodge Polara 500, 383 Torqueflite (pushbutton); '66 Plymouth Satellite, 383 Torqueflite; '64 Dodge Polara 500 convertible, 383 Torqueflite; '69 Satellite 383 Torqueflite.
I'd like to have ANY of them back, especially the '64 convert.

As they say, You da man. You got me jealous just reading this post. My plans for the 68 notch back cuda are to (if I ever have any money again) a 360 crate motor (maybe the 380 horse version). Its B3 Blue. I may paint it yellow or the green you mentioned. These cars are so much fun!
I have sold 6 Mopars and wish I had each and everyone of them back. Believe it or not, I grew up, partly, in a Chevy area. My first car was a 63 4 door Valiant push button auto with a slant six we massaged a bit. It actually gave the Ford 289s and Chivy 283s a run for their money off the line. Of course, they always won at top end. Many people could not believe I only had a slant six under the hood. A friend of mine had a two door 66 Valiant with a 340 from a 70 Duster stuffed under the hood. Boy did he kick but. By then I had a 66 Valiant with a 273 4 barrel. I would race him but he left me like I was still trying to start the car. Now, the 289s and 283s were no match for my little 273! Fun times.
P.S. Let me know when you are interested in another Charger. Mine is a rust bucket 68
