Officer shoots bad guy who has a gun. Family wants to know why the officer didn't use pepper spray or a Taser. How ignorant. I'm sure a frivolous(sp?) lawsuit will follow.

    see, I think the media insists on interviewing the stupidest person who is related to the suspect/victim/idiot who pulled the gun. I dont blame that cop one bit.

    Yeah I'd ask the same question if I was pissed that my kid was dead.
    Would I expect the officer to pull a taser? HELL no!! what happened to them "restraining" their own kid!!!

    What happened was, the idiot pulled a gun on the officer. HE escalated the force threat to where the only choice the officer had was to shoot first, or die!


    Stupid, but HE made the choice!

    Put the policeman back on active duty where he does his best.

    If a policeman in threatened - That force should be meet with equal force.

    He deserves a medal rather than deskjob.

    19 years old, already has a baby, the didn't say he was arguing with his wife so they weren't married, living with his Mom so he had a crappy job if any, yet somehow he had the money to get a 45 acp semiauto.He beats on women and pulls a gun on a cop trying to break up a lousy domestic argument. So,what kind of kid do we have here?
