About how many rounds can I shoot out of a new citadel barrel before I need to replace or check it.[?] I don't have the gauges. I put a new barrel on mine and shot about 1000 rounds thru her and so far so good. When will accuracy start to diminish[?] I shoot about three clips and then let the gun cool completely down before shooting again.

after reading evil's post about getting a garand i have a question.as the 8 round mag is fired it moves up right? if its moving up and about to get ejected, how can you see the sights? or does it empty the mag and eject it at the end?

KadaverThe clip is held stationary, the follower arm moves the rounds up to position the next round for the bolt to strip from the clip and chamber it. When the clip is empty, it is ejected from the action. It is not a magazine but an en-block clip which stays inside the rifle until empty (or ejected by pressing the clip release).
