That's cool. Is it quality American-made stuff from right there in Arkansas?Good American leather is hard to find these days. It's all made in Korea or some such place. Walk into the Harley shop and look at their Harley Davidson Motor Clothes leather goods. All made in foreign countries. What a joke.Bubba, do you have some association with this company?I have a jacket made in Texas by Branded Leathers. Been wearing it on the bike for nearly 11 years. All kinds of weather with damn little maintenance and it's still in great shape.I'll save that Steel Horse site in my favorites.By the way, that's the slowest-loading webpage in creation.

NOOOOOOO....Don't tell me any of my biker buds out there actually BUY anything at H-D shops. Why pay more just for the H-D logo?Think back....What has H-D done for you lately that would make you want to plaster their logo all over yourself, and pay extra for the privilege? Don't get me wrong Mrs. Mudge and I love our Harleys but the last time either of us was in a H-D shop was to add to our shirt collection. Our last was last week in Kalifornia at Folsom H-D and Hangtown (Placerville)H-D.Mudge

rodgerglide....speaking of riding armed, I found a concealment device that works great. It looks like a camera bag and has loops for your belt. No jacket or loose shirt required. Opens with a quick pull of a special tab. I wear it all summer. Sure, LEO's and some others may know what's in there but as long as they can't SEE it, it complies with the letter of the law for CONCEALED carry.Mudge

The only things I buy at the HD shop are parts not available from the aftermarket manufacturers and tee shirts for my collection, at shops I visit when I'm on the road.I don't buy their over-priced, low-quality clothing, bike parts or maintenance supplies. I put full synthetic oil in my bike for the same price as the shop wants for the straight petroleum Harley oil in a fancy HD black & gold jug.I can't believe the drones who buy into the "Harley Lifestyle" sales gimmick. They're the ones wearing the Harley underwear, playing cribbage with the Harley board and Harley playing cards, having an after-work drink in their Harley cocktail glasses...What a sick joke.Harley Davidson makes more money selling all this made-in-Taiwan Harley logo junk than they make selling their motorcycles, which also happen to be loaded-up with foreign-made parts.Made in USA?? Yeah, some parts are, but fewer and fewer every year.

Lowrider.....knew I could count on you to not be taken in (or taken) by that foreign made overpriced crap that H-D shops peddle. HOG drivers in this area are fortunate enough to have an independent shop in Gore, VA that has 3 of the best mechanics I've ever met. People come from MILES away. It's a family owned shop and regular customers get a decent discount on most things. They'll even order H-D stuff for you if you insist. Anybody close enough to want to check it out, E-mail me and I'll give you any info you need.eneybl1@ix.netcom.comNo, this is NOT a paid advertisement. The owners just happen to be Mrs. Mudge and my best buds.Mudge
