Screen Size? Why so Big?

Some of the "Cut and Paster's" Posts are so wide you can't read them because you have to scroll back and forth from left to right....a country mile in some cases! What causes this to happen?

Is everyone's eyesight so keen they operate from screen resolutions of 1600 x 1200 on a 4 inch monitor? I must be the only one left that has a "puny little 15 1/2 inch monitor with 800 x 600 resolution."

Of course, I could go spend for a new "Huge Computer System" with a 27 inch "TV" screen and a 10 Gigahertz processor that would rob all the electric power in the neighborhood. Don't you think a screen resolution of 64000 x 48000 and a pair of magnifying glasses would work better? Rather spend for more guns and ammo.....keep the old Puter......even if I never can scroll far enough to get to the end of the sentence.......

OOOoopps! Sorry.....Posted in 800 x 600 Resolution......

I don't know why it does that sometimes. I have a 19" monitor and I have to slide from side to side also. However it is not happening now.

It happens when somebody types a very long string of letters without a space, I know that much.

My monitor is wide enough, my resolution is good enough and I still don't read the spam.

Me too. I rarely read the posts that have to be horizontally scrolled. Too much a pain in the derriere.
