cooey .22

came across a cooey .22. model 75. its a bolt single shot, w/ pull back hamer. we think it was made in canada, sometime in the early 50's. does this sound right? where would i find out more on this?thanks

    think winch. produced a lot of them from fac. in Can. seen em on marster site..cheap!but you gotta import thru arms importer, aint easy and aint cheap. if you see one here,ck it out they look good to me...seems you can buy (if your in Can.) tons of bolts,semi's of diff. models in good to exc. cond. for 30-to 100 bucks...never seen one down here...so would not know the price.......

    Savage bought them out,after Winchester had their fling with them.That is where they make the Savage 22s now...look on the barrel of a new Savage 22 it will likely say 'Savage Of Canada'on it..218
