Wouldn't it just be simpler for the Democrats in Florida just to draw straws instead of trying to figure out some piece of high tech equipment when it comes to voting?

I heard that Florida spent well over 30 million dollars since the last election on new, improved equipment!! I guess when your state is full of retirees your probably better off using low-tech instead of the latest and greatest.

    What a joke.

I live in NW Flarda and we had no problems. It all is with in a few counties. All highly democratic. The supervisor's of elections in these counties are Demos'. They had 2 years and 32 million to fix the problem. But they don't want to fix it. They want to cause problems and blame in on Jeb to get Reno or McBride elected.
As MS Clinton would say "It's a Vast Left Wing Conspiracy" Ooops she said right wing didn't she?

Classic, its not the yankees screwin things up, its the Hatians, Cubans, Mexicans, Africans, and the Blue Hairs. I think that people should be given a test to see if they are even competant enouph to cast a vote.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

not to sit here and defend the a$$holes that live down here that can't cast a damn ballot, but my mom is 65 years old and Cuban and had no problem voting at all.

its not only the people that are voting causing the problems. the new voting machines are touchscreen. after you are done with the voting process you are supposed to hit the red button on the top of the machine to actually cast the vote. no one tells you this when you go into the booth...they leave it up to the voter to figure it out. only reason i knew how to do it is because at a union meeting some guy was giving a presentation on the new machines and how they work.

People in Florida don't know how....
Why not ask Gore and Reno about that..

When I voted, the machine presented the wrong party ballot. I laughed and told an election supervisor, "I'm from Chicago; remember to vote early and OFTEN."

So from the perspecitve of an on-site, on hands experience, it may not be the bluehairs, the Cubans, the Haitians, the Blacks or anyone else's fault other than the manufacturer. And note the workers are all YOUNG FOLKS.

It's not what you know that gets you in trouble, it's what you know that just ain't so!

One of the die-hard Dems was on the news today asserting that this just reminds people that "Gore won the election," proving that either she really is too dumb to understand what happened back there, or she's willing to lie about it even now. Even the liberal media reported research done afterward showed Bush would have taken Florida anyway.

Most Dems are admitting embarrassment over the whole new mess, and trying to sweep Reno politely under the rug so they can start fundraising with their candidate.

I can't believe these people in Florida STILL cannot figure out how to cast their ballots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are they using equipment or ballots that are not also being used in other places? How come it's only in Florida that they can't seem to understand how to vote? Are these the stupidest human beings on the face of the Earth, or what? I don't think people this stupid should even be allowed to vote!

    Rule #2: Always trade up.

    Saxon Pig:

Yes,these northeastern urbanites, who have infested our state, are "the stupedest human beings on the face of the earth"!

They should be allowed to vote, alright, but by proxy to their home states ,which totally Ph%qin` suck anyway!

This is very frustrating to explain, but
the native population here is probably less
    than 1%
