Andrew, Penn State always went to bowls and did well when they were playing those weak eastern teams....now that they've moved to the Big 10, they found out what competition really is.....

Bee,How'd you like the preview game to the 2007 Florida State Penitentiary championship? My God, I've never seen so many stupid penalties, I guess that's what you get when you recruit thugs!

Now let get something straight here, the only reason us Yankee's all come to the south or west coast to play ball January 1st is because we are tired of shoveling snow and want to get a 48hr tan.Southern college temperature sensative pansey ball players just wouldn't know how to hang onto a cold hard football. They'd play football like most southerners drive on icy roads....not very good. I'd like to see some of those Florida temperature sensative teams come up here and play Nebraska & Michigan on New Years Day. It's the same reason southern NFL teams hate to play playoff games in Green Bay.....not enough hair....

LISTEN,IF NEBRASKA OR OKLAHOMA PLAYED IN A CONFERENCE THAT HAD ANY COMPETETION I COULD UNDERSTAND BUT THEY DONT PLAY ANYBODY ALL YEAR LONG.NO CHALLENGING SCHEDULE NOTHING THEN AT THE END OF THE YEAR THEY ARE FRASH AND READY TO GO.TRY THE S.E.C. THE TOUGHEST CONFERENCE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.JUST ASK ARKANSAS,THEY WERE IN THAT CONFERENCE WITH OKLAHOMA AND THE REST,WHEN THEY CAME TO THE S.E.C. IT TOOK THEM 10 YEARS TO MUSTER A WINNING SEASON

All that rollin around in the muddy snow,it`s not even football. Then they score maybe 14 points between them, because THEY can`t play in those conditions either. Then they have the nerve to call it"REAL FOOTBALL" "A REAL DEFENSIVE STRUGGLE".What a cop out!!And what a laugh!!Just keep sendin` them down here ta get there butts spanked every year!!!~Sir Lord Beekeeper~

Beekeep,You are a little cocky for a man who saw his two state football powerhouses get trounced. Yes, I realize that one of them was trounced by another Florida school that recruits those boys from a hard thug life, but still your state embarrassed itself today. I'm just glad that I am going to see an end of the year top five with neither Florida or Florida State in it. BTW, maybe Bowden will now do the honorable thing and commit hari kari. Oh, who am I kidding, Bowden hasn't done anything honorable in his whole life, why should he start now.Additionally, I would like to amend my earlier post, my favorite teams are Penn State and whoever beat Bobby Bowden today.BTW, Beekeep, a little trivia for you, what college football coach does Joe Paterno have the most wins against?Yes, I will conceed to you Alabama folks that he has the most losses against the Bear.

Rebel teams-vs-Yankee teams? isn't this how the civil war got started? It's always amazed me that the State of Iowa fields two teams in two of the toughest conferences in the country...Big 12 & Big 10, yet only has a population of about 2.5 million. Nebraska consistently puts a Nationally ranked team together each year with only 1.6 million residents and a few cows. Florida has more people living in Dade County than we have in both our states combined. You ought to be able to find a few players out of about 25 million residents. Same thing with Eastern colleges.....I'm of the John Madden way of thinking when it comes to playing football...mud,..snow,..cold,....not this climate controlled flower garden setting as seen in some stadiums. Most of those cupcake players from the south and west coast don't like to come here.Midwest football teams are sort of like Midwest Whitetail deer....bigger, stronger, and tougher because of the climate. BeeKeep, what happened to them "noles" yesterday? I see Joe Paterno had a good day....he didn't have to play anyone. How about those Nebraska Yankee farm boys?....over 600 yards! In the off season they pull plows through the fields....heehee.

Andrew,Rembrandt,I must hand it to you boys, you don`t give up for nothin`.I don`t know why I dragged myself into this, fussin` with to of my buddies, about somethin` that I actually agree with both of ya about, for the most part.I`d gladly let yaw have all these thugs,if I had my way about it(read signature)....but then you`d probably take em!Andrew,I haven`t even seen 20 seconds of football this year...honestly.Now gentlemen, this is not even fitting conversation for men such as our selves, who are more suited for the finer things..such as a fine cigar,a large snifter with a small amount of cognac swirling about the bottom, the classics, poetry from our own hand.and yes.....smoking jackets. ~Sir Lord Beekeeper~P.S. How bout them Canes!!!
