It was just getting fun, no real problems with the Klan thread. We were just discussing our family histories and then...poof!! Man, cant a guy have some fun while waiting for his lead to melt?

    No matter how you dress it, or what you call it, or how noble the stated intent, the Klan is EVIL. And this guy was obviously promoting and/or recruiting.

    Not here.

    Now, if someone wants to promote an organization espousing family values, conservatism, and patriotism, without any racial bias, then I'm in.

    Oh I know nunn, I was just finding it amusing how the whole thread was sidelined and we got to talking about stuff that that had nothing to do with it. Seems no one really cares for the topic, and that shows the character of us all. I dont miss the thread, just killing time, had to type something to stay awake.

    Somewhere around here, I have a copy of the organization's Constitution and By-Laws. Reading it, you would think this is the Rotary Club or some other benevolent outfit. Very noble sounding document. Something got left out, I guess.

    Lanski is a Polish name. The Klan is no different than the militant black and spanish organisations that preach hatred and violence but it gets more attention because they target the so called minorities. I am not a white suppremist or a Klanner, skin head or any other misguided groupie, I believe that any organisation that separates itself from society and the general population based on race, nationality, sexual orientation, religeous prefferences ect. and lobby for prefered treatment based on there differences are in fact racist organisations. Affirmative action is a good example of reverse descrimination. Why is it a hate crime for certain people to be murdered but not others? Why didn't the media jump on the racist rampage last month when the black guy in NYC went into that bar shooting people saying he was gonna kill all the evil white people and was handcuffing them and dousing them with lighter fluid? You know, the guy the two women jumped and stopped from killing everyone in the bar. You didn't see the bleeding heart liberals cry out about that did you? It is time that we as Americans throw all the PC BS out the window and treat everyone exactly the same way, no preferences, no exceptions, no more laws to seperate and create harsh feelings and resentment.

    When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

    Oh we're all treated equal enough. If someone has a use for you, or can benefit from using you for a time, you are their prefered person of aquaintance. When you no longer serve as a benefit for them, so long. Be it politicians, your boss, or the guy next door, people truly suck on the evolutionary scale. Find your true friends, and to he77 with everyone else, seems like the wrong thing to believe in, but when it all comes down to it, no one is going to really be there for you except family and the real good friends. I know I can rely on black, spanish, white, or red Americans all the same, NOT, unless they're my friends. I hold no prejudices against any race, besides the human race. I really like my dog, and even my darn cat is predictable.

    greetings, had some trouble in fla a few years back, and what robsguns said is quite true. all the people you know unless they have a real tie or strong convictions will be like rats in a sinking ship. what's that catch all phrase, "the sec. with deny all knowledge... hell the people you work with will.) but in and thru it all you will find the real gold and the real chaff, and the results may surprise you. the people that you think you could count on may cut and run and the ones your sure you can't will stick like glue. respt submitted dads-freehold

    God and Country: I agree completely. I think I had the last post on the Klan topic before it disappeared, and I stated that the Klan was no different and no worse than the NAACP. I really DO believe that. But in this country you can't get away with promoting your race unless you're a member of a racial minority.
