Whats wrong with me?

I stayed home from work today because I have a headache, a sore throat, all my skin hurts when it touches cold air, or anything cold, and the strangest thing is im seeing everything in slow motion, like if I wave my hand in front of my face it looks like this "ssssssS" i think im dieing or something.

    Gene,If you're not joking, go and see a doctor IMMEDIATELY!Possibly meningitis--VERY serious! (Don't be a dumb "tough guy" and avoid seeing a doctor!)Any opinions from the real doctors and med students?

    Gene,I'm not playing. Normally when you get an infection, your brain and nervous system is protected--the infection does not spread to affect these tissues.Sometimes an infection can spread to affect the brain and nervous tissue. The symptoms you describe--sensitivity to cold, vision effects--could indicate such has occurred with you.Do seek medical attention; if you have a family doctor, put a call in to his office and explain what you've stated in this post.You don't have to be "in pain" to be seriously ill.And again, Dr. Pileri, or others with medical backgrounds who post here, can you offer your opinions if you read Gene's post?Joe

(i.e i get hives from penicillin, etc.)What medicines are you taking? names? how much? how many times a day? any vitamins? herbs? over-the-counter supplements?What medical conditions do you have already?     Ya Rosie Im from Texas, ok Dr.Pileri, I have a sore throat, a slight fever, my skin hurts when something cooled touches it, no shootind pains, just a feeling of getting shocked or something, not a high fever, it started last night, has never happened to me before, not to anyone I know, I feel alot better when I rest with lots of covers over me, I feel worse when i have no covers on, my fever has stayed the same. Im allergic to bee stings and thats about it, it makes me break out in hives and itch all over. Im taking paxil 20 mg a day, once a day, no vitamins, herbs, or over the counter supplements.No medical conditions.Had one when I was a baby, nothing went wrong, I think it was to fix a hernia.Nothing to relitives.I drunk 2 Zimas last night, other than that I drink about 4 or 5 beers a month. Dont take tobacco, never have, I quit my job to start working out to try and be in the Navy Seals, but I have a side job working at a Green House for about 4 or 5 hours a day. Im am exposed to pestasides and other chemicals but I wear gloves and a breathing mask. No one smokes around me, no one in my family or around me is sick, never traveled over seas, I work out for about 4 hours a day, I swim, run, lift weights, do pushups and situps mainly.all vaccines up to date.Had headache all day none stop, light makes it worse, around my eyes, and forehead, no to all the rest except it hurts when I swallow, slight ear aches, and I feel dizzy when I stand up, and try to walk.My vision has changed, I cant explain it very good over the computer, but

    i had symptoms close to this once- turned out to be arsenic poisoning from wood treating compound.

    Dr Pileri,Not trying to get into your business, but you are treading dangerous waters... This gentleman is reporting some possible signs/symptoms of encephalitis and/or meningeal infection or irritation. He is best served having a full hands-on workup to include an LP and possibly a CTH rather than emailing back and forth. As an associated medical professional, I would suggest you urge him to forego further posting and seek face-to-face medical attention.

    Sorry I got cut off, I just had to go and rest. And the next day I went to the doctor, and told him what I felt like, and he had a pretty good idea of what I had, so he tested me for strep throat, and I tested positive, he also said I have a ear infection from swimming every day. Thanks for your concern cpileri, tightbred, and competentone its nice to know yall care about me even though we've never met.
