How Many 870's Is Enough?

Holy pump-action Batman I've bought another one. You see, I've got this thing about plain barrel 3" magnum Remington 870's. I just have to buy one whenever I find one. They're always cheap so I can't say no. Now I've got seven of 'em. Should I trade several for a Kimber? (plus a little extra $$)

Naw man, Keep 'em and get an 870 magnum to complete the collection. Good guns.

One 870 is enough to make you realize that a great 870 is not as good as a bad Ithaca Model 37.

Yes, 218Bee, all are Wingmasters. I'll bet they haven't made a plain barrel Remington shotgun since the early eighties? So they all tend to be Wingmasters and since they are, they generally are in good shape as far as blueing and good looking wood. The Remington custom shop won't even make you a plain barrel Wingmaster, no matter what. I know because I tried. So, I got to have them old ones.

Salzo, I'd take my 870 magnum express over your busted up ithica with its split barrel any day of the week.

My first repeating shotgun was an 870. She was all ugly complete with synthetic stock and a pistol-grip to boot. The pistol grip made it feel like the M-16 that I learned to shoot. I wish I still had her.I now have a couple other shotguns and would like to buy an Ithaca Deerslayer to compliment my Model 37.

I have recently recieved an ithica model 37 and have not had a chance to shoot it. I've got a debate for ya'll. What do like to shoot better for trap. A semi-atomatic or an O/U. I have a beretta 391 12g and a weatherby O/U 20g and I have to I enjoy shooting the 20 better.

Ithaca made a pump shotgun? After the Remingtons, Winchesters, and Brownings that have found their way into my cabinet I hardly think it proper to add an Ithaca to the mix. Something about "there goes the neighborhood" comes to mind.
