Funny how its O.K. to make a living with them and then promote the prevention of others from owning them. Kinda like Mel Gibson.

Don't forget Mark Wahlberg from "Planet of the Apes". He's actually a felon, so it's illegal for him to even touch a gun, regardless of whether or not he "has to" for a film. Funny how the law doesn't apply to Hollyweird. All the evidence needed to convict him would be any of his films in the past 5 or 10 years. The "Justice System" sucks.

Sylvester Stallone ??? Personaly as an actor he performs quite well ,but his real personal profile is not even fit for the first day of training in special ops ,I got that Nicname from the way i used to shoot wile flying combat hovercraft...no chickens survived ... Ever try to shoot one at 200mph.... from a hello ,try it its good training . Back to "Tweety": he is a D**K !!!!

simonbs- Are you sure about Mel Gibson being anti-gun? I remember when that movie the PAtriot came out, and he was being interviewed about the scene where his children shoot a bunch of Red Coats. He was asked if he thought that it was irresponsible to show that scene. He answered not at all, and went on to explain he would never tell his children not to pick up a gun if there life was threatened. He also said that he frequently takes his children to the shooting range. I have heard that he is anti-gun, and I find that hard to believe. What did he do that makes him anti-gun?

Came from Lethal Weapon III. He had a similar post-movie interview except his answers were the opposite. In the movie, there is anti-gun propaganda which, when asked about, he agreed whole-heartedly with. It seems that his views tend to shift with whatever the movie he has to promote portrays.

simonbs- Wow. Thanks for the info. I knew about the anti-gun agenda of the lethal weapon crowd, but I did not know he supported anti gun views in an interview.

I believe most of these Hollywood actors have no identity. They become whoever they have most recently portrayed in the movies and are stuck there until their next script comes along.

The "Lethal Weapon" thing was "cop-killer bullets". I think he was just ignorant about the subject. It was kind of funny when he was hiding behind 55-gallon drums, but HIS "cop killer bullets" went through a bulldozer blade! Guess those 55 gallon drums stopped the bad guys' bullets!! Har! (.22's usually go through both sides).

The problem I see here is the dumbing down of the American People. Why does anyone care what a bad actor's views are on anything? It reminds me of all the fat housewives that take Rosie and Oprah's words as scripture. Since when does being an actor make someone an authority on anything?

Lethal Weapon also has anti-gun propoganda in the police station scene towards the beginning of the movie.

Good eyes, Ids. There WERE a lot of anti-gun posters all over the walls in that police station.

I was refering to what Idsman posted and a scene between him and Rene Russo where they are exasperated over a weapon that had been confiscated and was back out on the streets when it should be "paper clips...anything but a gun".

My little brother (ex-USMC) was an actor (movies and TV) for a lotta' years until Parkinson's forced him to quit. I'll bet every one of you have seen him in something. Made a fortune playing "3 piece suits". Never did belong to the Hollyweird crowd. Don't know if it was because he owned guns or just was turned off by the liberal BS. Called LA "Granola City". Judge, sadly, the uninformed public sees these theatrical productions and takes them for gospel. It's not just the protection afforded by an armored trash can, it's the fully-controlled, one-handed shooting of full auto weapons and shotguns, etc. It's all fantasy. Problem is, the uninformed public thinks it represents reality.

I think the funniest of all is the first "Lethal Weapon" where Gibson shoots the smiley face in the target. The camera is on his face and he flinches heavily with every shot. Yep, expert marksman!! HA!!!!!!!!The way he was flinching from the blanks, he would never have hit the paper!!!! LOL!!
