God Help Us All

God help us all here in the late great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania now that Ed Rendell has won the Democratic primay for governor with the urban vote. Get ready for a socialist republic where Ed knows best for you and your family, but have no fear, Ed does not want to take your deer guns or keep you out of the deer woods. Get your carry permit and buy all the hi-cap mags, ugly guns, and ammo, etc., that you ever wanted now before it's against the law in PA or make sure that Mr. Fisher beats Mr. Rendell in the fall general election.

Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

GUNPAQ- Perhaps, and I realize this might be a stretch, this is a blessing in disguise.
I did not know much about Casey, but I heard he was pro gun and pro life. I do not know if he is really pro-gun, or just more pro gun than Rendell.
Is it possible, that since Eddie is going to be running on the Democrat ticket, that the pro-gun democrats and Republicans will not vote for him, and will vote for Fischer? Is it possible that those who voted for Casey, will not vote for Rendell but will switch to the Republican ticket?
    I guess time will tell.

Perhaps in some rural areas Democrats will vote for Fisher but most all will vote their party regardless. My grandmother would vote for Satan himself if he were running as a Democrat simply because "the Democrats are for the working man and the Republicans are only for the rich". It is hard for me to understand why intellegent educated people will vote their party or Union endorsed politician rather than the one they personally favor. "I know Al Gore is anti-gun and a socialist and I really think George Bush is the best choice but I was born a Democrat and my family has always voted Democrat" said my uncle while fall archery hunting in 2000. Guaranteed Mr. Rendell will get in simply due to the massive urban vote and the the rurals who faithfully vote their party no matter what. casey, good or bad, is a honorable person who is a Pennsylvanian at heart, whereas Mr. Rendell is an ambitious politician with his own personal agenda to get to the White House - he is going to do whats good for Ed's future and not whats good for Pennsylvania's future.
