Just got done reading a book called "Year of The Rat" by Edward Timberlake and William C. Triplett II. It has to do with how Bill Clinton and Al Gore compromised U.S. security for Chinese money. Has anyone else read the book? If so, what are your comments? If what is written in this book is true, God help us if Gore or Hillary get back in the White House.

I read this book, and I believe everything in it. Look at the ties to other terrorist donations in H. Klinton's campaign, money she HAD to return when exposed (it never would have been otherwise)Money isn't evil, "it's the love of money that is the root of all evil", and people like them are what will bring down our country.Ultra liberals will effect change by using the system and then when unable to achieve their goals, will pander and rub elbows with the enemy to achieve them, and one of them is create a incident which panics the people or, create a wedge issue to divide that they might be perceived as the knight in shining armour come to save the day. We need to keep these types (politicians) in their own states, that want them, but what we really need to do is expose tyhem for what they are, power hungry, greedy, egos, that need adoration and attention of people. We need to wake up.[This message has been edited by turbo (edited 01-27-2002).]

I don't think even exposing them will do any good. Everyone with half a brain and one good eye knew what a lying, traitorous, socialist sack of s**t Bill was, most certainly by the time he ran for his second term, but still they grinned like a kid with a new toy and voted for the f**k. Pardon my French, I can't help it when talking of that puss-sucking t**t. The problem is a sad majority of the American people are total muttonheads who think life is like it is on TV, and everything is solved in 1/2 or 1 hour (minus commercial breaks).
I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.--Voltare
