The way to handle, "Peace Movements"

I saw this on another board, and agree with it....This should have been done back in the 'nam era.........more than it was..
What to do if you happen upon a peace rally by stupid naive hemp-shirt-wearing college idiots, to teach them why force is sometimes needed: 1) Approach dumb rich ignorant student talking about "peace" and saying there should be, "no retaliation." 2) Engage in brief conversation, ask if military force is appropriate. 3) When he says "No," you should ask, "Why not?" 4) Wait until he says something to the effect of, "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence." 5) When he's in mid sentence, punch him in the face as hard as you can. 6) When he gets back up to up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you, because that would, "be awful and he should not cause more violence." 7) Wait until he agrees that he has pledged not to commit additional violence. 8) Punch him in the face again, harder this time. Repeat steps 5 through 8 until they understand that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.

If you punched him as hard as you could (step 5) then how could you punch him harder the next time (step 8)?

Step 8 should include the phrase "with a brick." Probably deleted for PC purposes.

Bubba....I like the idea but.....If you hit him as hard as you can, he shouldn't be getting up.As soon as he regains consciousness, he's gonna' holler for the cops and YOU'RE gonna be in the slammer for assault & battery.I, however, will contribute to your bail!!!Mudge

Stand across the street with a camera (35 MMwith long lens) and for 15 minutes or so carefully take many pictures of all of them.(Not necessary to have film in camera). Would also help to have friend along & wear suits. Should drive them absolutely paranoid.

Gruntled,When I was in college at WVU, a few (less than a dozen) peacenicks were out on the lawn behind the student union protesting the bombing in Kosovo. I simply put on a suit, walked up with a 35mm and a notepad. After I took pictures of all of them, I took out my notepad and started asking them their names and hometowns. They wanted to know if I was a reporter and I replied "sort of." You should have seen the freaks run! Some of these people are genuine nut jobs, walking around with their "It will be a great day for America when our schools have everything they need and the Air Force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber" buttons, and their hemp clothing.I see it more the way most of the people in my apartment complex see it. I live a mile from the Naval Air Station in Willow Grove, and my apartment sits right on the approach to the runway, so jets go over my head about fifty times a day. One day, I was out in the yard when an F-14 went streaking over at about 200 feet, generating quite a bit of noise. Some guy that I had never seen before was out in the yard playing with his 3-4 yr. old daughter. After the jet went over, his daughter asked her daddy what that loud noise was. He looked down at her and said, "Sweetie, that's the sound of freedom." I nearly applauded the man. When I first moved in here, the noise bothered me some, but now I'm proud to hear the noise.
