I thought I would relate a funny story from about a year ago. I was reminded of it when I heard Barbara Boxer recently railing on against guns. So I was working in the Senate at the time and I am crossing the street in front of the Hart Building (now closed with Anthrax). I have a walk signal so I begin to cross when I am almost flattened by good 'ol Barb. I literally had to jump out of the way of her car, and I see her looking straight ahead, with no idea that she almost killed me. The worst part is, not only was it a red light, but also a clearly marked "Do Not Enter" one-way. Just as I am collecting myself, I am almost nailed by Mary Landrieu who was following on her tail. All this coming from women who think we are dangerous for wanting to own a firearm. They want to write burdensome gun regulation but not follow street signs. Hypocrites!
The definition of an "expert":An "X" is an unknown quantity and a "spurt" is a drip under pressure.

Saxon Pig that's downright frightening. Do you reckon that's why the klintons managed to make so many of their cohorts "dissapear"?

Members of Congress have limited immunity to arrest, but only when Congress is in session. I'm not sure what the limits are to the immunity.

Rostenkowski did go to the slammer but I think he recently go out or maybe is close to getting out. I'm not from IL but I remember him when his name comes up here and there.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. And she would never have given it a second thought. Babs is a c&%t. She has an office in downtown San Diego, where I encountered the "esteemed Senatorette". I was working as an electrician at the time, and carrying a 4'x2' light fixture into the office we were working on. So here I come, big box on my shoulder, obviously working. She's standing right in the doorway, looking in, seeing what's going on, and my supervisor is chatting to her. She turns around, arms crossed, staring me right in the eye coldly, making no effort to move. I kind of stop, thinking, "Is this woman for real?" Finally, I say "Excuse me!", being a little snotty, like it isn't obvious she's in my way? Her little power trip finished, she slowly moves aside so I can get back to work. I walk off shaking my head, more convinced than ever that women should never have been given the vote, much less ever been allowed to run for public office. Arrogance, thy name is woman. I can't think of a single female politician who is pro-gun.
