Well Pop's, the Rembrandt's will be finishing up the last of the snack crackers, chips, veggie trays, Christmas candy, and maybe a pot of Deer chili for this afternoon.....tomorrow we go on diets.

Today is the celebration of college football. Yeah yeah, I know the Rose Bowl won't be until the 3rd(what's that all about) Am going to plant myself, my elderly father and my 13 year old corner back son in front of the TV with a huge wedge of Cashel blue Irish cheese, some smoked salmon, some slices of Virginia ham and enjoy the epitome of college football. Maybe between games we'll get out to the range today to work off some of the cheese. You know walking back and forth to the 200 yard line does wonders for the waistline. In any case a Happy New year to all of you here on our great GB forum. Beach

Today's fair includes eggs, bacon, bagels, cheese, sausage and a few other odds and ends that need taking care of. I plan on celebrating the New Year by washing it down with a frosty adult beverage and kicking back to some football.

Rib roast leftover from Christmas with asparagus and mashed potatoes washed down with nonalcoholic beer(you can get used to anything)plus Stolen and coffee. Later, somerum boosted egg nog, marzipan and pistashio nuts with TV.This will compensate for the 100 calories we lost in a walk around the lake.

Sausage and Cheese Ommelette for dinner with English muffins and another adult beverage. This evening's table will also be graced with a loaf of my homemade tomato and basil bread.
