American Flags...a bit of cynicism

Okay...I'm going to be a cynic for just a few moments here. Someone walked into my office Friday night before heading home asking for American Flag stickers. Apparently every resemblence of the American Flag has been sold out and backordered until Kingdom Come. Where the hell was the sentiment before September 11? The danger that we face is that all of this patriotic sentiment could possibly be emotion-based. Where will it be a month from now?     idsman75, I can assure you mine was there before and will be there after. I just hope this will get folks online with their patriotism. They need to learn the proper way to display the flag. It is disrespectful to just nail it up, tie it to a car, let it touch the ground, or let the sun go down on it. I hope they won't be lazy and raise the flag at sunrise, and lower it at sunset. If they fly it at half staff, it should be first raised to full staff, then lowered to half. If they cannot be home at sunset to lower the flag, they need to setup a light to shine on it. God, it a beautiful flag. Also, take the time to stop and shake the hand of any police officer, fireman, or service man of any branch. It could have been them, and if would have happened in you town, it would have been.God Bless America!

    Simple! The boat has not arrived from China with the new order! Wake up!!! Buy American!! The job you save may be your own!
