Pennstate kicked butt last night! It was like Nebraska didn't show up! Glad there back to there winning ways!!

    Penn State rocked last night! My friend made a bet that Nebraska would whoop Penn State... well, it didn't happen. They were just too good!! You couldn't stop them!

    Just good to see Paterno on the winning track, he's a good coach and highly respected by his players. God it's hard to believe he's been coaching there for 53years.

    Hey booger, what part of PA do you live in? I live 35 miles from Penn State U. And I have met Joe P, he is an arrogant SOB. I don't like the fact that he had to whine his way into the Big10, something about a guarenteed bowl game each year, I thought those was earned.

    Don't get me wrong I don't hate Nebraska, I highly respect them and they are an exciting team to watch! They just had an off day, I wished we played them more often!

    Rem, not only can the players NOT go to jail, they have to keep a real C or better GPA. Went to HS with a guy that was a outstanding lineman, got recrutied to PSU, couldnt hold the grade. He was gone in 1 semester.

    7mm, of course hes arrogant, all of the morons flocking to Beaver Stadium have made him a figurehead. Thing is, he can do it, so it aint bragging.

    I don't think Joe is an arrogant SOB. Have gotten to know him and the Mrs. personally over the years through charity work. Have found them to be quite nice people and very personable. Although I spent 4 years at Penn State I have yet to attend a football game nor have an interest in football other than having done demo jumps into stadiums.

    If he is at a charity event, he has to be nice! When I met him it was quite a few years ago, I was still a snotty brat and met him at some big party that my grandparents and some other relatives attended. Somehow one of my uncles from state College knows him and did the introductions, Mr Paterno wouldnt even so much as look at me let alone say Hi, to heck with him I say!

    Had other dealings with him and the Mrs. beyond the charity events and still the same nice and personable people. I can see where you are comming from, though. I'm, I would have gotten a similar reception if in an impromto meeting and not on an agenda or list simply due to the thousands to who he is in demand. Some of my former students think I am a SOB because I can't remember them. PS: Penn State is just like the NRA, always hounding you for money to support their big shots.

    I grew up in Elba Ne.! Small world! The huskers suck this year, we all know it. If I were a Penn state fan, I wouldn't read into it too much!
