Ain't nothin' loke a rodeo!
Now, where the hell is Tekamah?
BUT - what is the deal with the music? It was real loud and totally rock-n-roll. Zepplin, Ozzie, Metallica, etc.
Barely any country music at all. Other than that it was the same as I remember from the last one I attended probably 35 years ago...
Went to the Rodeo last weekend, hadn't been to one in years. It was fun and my daughter loved it.

I was surprised when I first heard that. It was at a Professional Bull Riders event and the music was miserably loud.
On one hand, the rock and roll makes for more dramatic background, but also, today's cowboys and their fans listen to a much wider range of music than my generation ever did.
Used to win some money at the fairs up and down Kalif. in team roping and calf roping.
I'd enter the over 45 calf roping, but they would have to time me with a calender.

Saw a few people lose a finger or thumb team roping. My Dad had his finger cut off team roping. He went to the hospital and they sewed it back on. Eventually it was as good as new.

Hey, we have a beer garden. Do you see the admission price? We try our hardest to keep it low so a working stiff can still take the wife and kids out on the weekend, have a good time, drink a few beers, and still have some money left over come Monday. The beer garden helps pay for the stock contractor. Do you know the last bull-o-rama they had in Omaha cost over $50.00 per ticket? Horse schitt!
Got Guns?
hay ...where can i get one of those posters for my collection.?..(former roper turned bull rider)...what is the buy in as well?
Send me your addy and I'll send you one. I only have a few left. I don't know what the entry fee is.
But, if you are a good bull rider, it willl interest you to know we are having a bull-o-rama of our own on the 3rd of July and it will have a $2500.00 added purse!!
