Glock 35

Is the Glock 35 reliable as other Glocks? or can mud, and sand get in that "hole" on top of the slide and screw it up? And about how many rounds can a Glock 35 fire before it needs repair? I think the HK USP .40 was like 20,000 rounds, does the Glock 35 even compare to that?
