This takes a while to download but it's worth it. It is a B-1 bombing video. Uses windows media player. http://www.fantasticrealms.com/videos/B-1_Final.WM

And to think President Carter wanted to kill the B-1 project, thank God for the Gipper or we would not have this fine weapon today nor this fine video. What a plane.

No wonder It crashed later at sea ,they are not designed to take the inverted g stress itwill cause unholy things to happen to all of it's system ,specialy its composite structurals.

Judge dread where do you get inverted g? There is no such term in aviation. As an aviator I watched the video and nowhere in the maneuvering is there negative g. Is this what you refer to in your ignorance as "inverted g"? Why don't you comment on something you know about, that will cut your posts considerably. I'm sure the B-1 is rated for negative g as all military aircraft are.

Let me take a stab at this. A "regular" g is on that increases the pilots weight, i.e. puts him against the seatpan harder. A negative g decreases weight, i.e. tries to pull pilot out of seat. Is this correct? I can't remember to save my life.

will270win a "g" is the force of gravity. In everyday life you are under the force of 1g. That is your weight on earth. In an aircraft it is possible to increase or decrease the g force by changing the angle of incidence.By that I mean a sudden steep climb or hard turn will make you feel heavier, while if I should push the nose of the aircraft down you would feel much lighter. Get it?
